Forum Rules & Code of Conduct

Post by admin »

Welcome to the City Tutoring Discussion Forum

This forum exists to promote serious discussion of education, mathematics, public affairs, Christian theology, history, and related subjects. It is not intended to function as a general-purpose social media platform.

Participation here is a privilege, not a right. The administration reserves the right to remove content, restrict accounts, or close discussions that are inconsistent with the purpose and standards of the forum or violate the laws of God and the standards of the Holy Christian Church and its earthly authorities.

Forum Standards

Discuss ideas seriously and in good faith.

Members are expected to contribute thoughtful, substantive, and relevant discussion. Low-effort posting, trolling, immoral provocation, and repetitive ideological agitation are not welcome.

Respect the purpose of each forum.

Topics should be posted in the appropriate section and should contribute to the subject under discussion.

Christian Theology Forum

The Christian Theology section is intended for discussion of Christian doctrine, church history, canon law, liturgy, pastoral practice, and theological questions.

Posts whose primary purpose is to mock Christianity, attack the Church, promote anti-Christian polemics, or derail theological discussion will be removed.

Public Affairs and Society

Robust disagreement is permitted within the constraints of what is reasonable. Insults against our founder, threatening or disrespecting any of the staff at City Tutoring as well as disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Members should strive to support claims with evidence, argument, and reasoned analysis.

No anonymous social-media behavior.

Repeatedly inflammatory or disruptive posting may result in moderation.

Administration and Moderation

Moderators may edit, move, lock, or remove content when necessary to preserve the quality and purpose of the forum.

The administration's interpretation of these rules is final.

Conduct

Do not post spam, commercial advertising, malicious content, or material that is immoral or unlawful.
