I seem to be an outlier here, but perhaps that's a good thing.
I'm an incoming 1st year undergraduate student in Pure Mathematics.
The main reason I'm here is because I want to be able to talk to other people who take Mathematics seriously.
My enrollment day is 2 days from today and I already feel like an outlier in the local scene.
Firstly, everyone seems to be allergic to speaking English.
I tried to fit in in the group chat but that didn't seem to work quite well, so perhaps I'll try the opposite end and be unabashedly me. To be truthful above all else.
So I expect to be spending most of my time in the library or taking long walks in or outside the institution's premises.
I think this forum will provide me better company.
