Is Jerking Off sinful?

I wasn't sure if this was gonna get banned in "theology" section, so I'm posting here just in case it won't work for theology. My question is basic since I was curious about what you all think being that there are so many hardcore Christians here.

Is jerking off a sin to you? My understanding is the Bible doesn't explicitly mention it.

Yes. Ciciro wrote a famous text about jerking off one time, it goes "Lorem ipsum...". There is an intersection between pain and pleasure. 9 times out of 10 I would consider not jerking off as the righteous thing to do.

1. The exploitation of women in any form other than how God intended is a short term resource that will never pay dividends.
2. You don't want someone walking in on you beating your dong that's embarrassing for all involved.
3. There is nothing inherently skillful or valuable about it. Do something useful with your time. Even video games can provide some level of critical thinking.

Just my take, you should do what you want to in your spare time unless it becomes a problem.

I mean sure like I can see if its your only outlet or becomes something obsessive then it can be a bad thing like anything. Good point #1 that it wont pay dividends, but then I look around at most women today and with extremely few exceptions, do they pay dividends?

And of course point 2, but that's not in any way a risk for me lol.

Women are happier, and they make the people around them happier when they have less agency. Find a good one and take care of her. If you're a man, and you're not struggling in your 20s and 30s (i.e. spending your time jacking off, not developing a skill), you're going to end up with a fat, entitled hog of a wife later in life and never stop hating women.

Good women understand this, and they will tell you feminism is the worst thing to ever happen to them. Ever wonder why career women are so mean and tribal towards men? Because they hate themselves and the people around them. Their struggle is not a path to a higher meaning. It robs themselves, society, and their deity with the one resource they were designed to surrender, having children

The problem is the content you watch when you're jerking. Excessive porn consumption is giving men erectile dysfunction. In my experience, I kept replaying scenes in my head when I was in the sack. Viewing porn ultimately disconnects you from your lover and your own body.

Also, the porn industry has skewed men and women's perception of what's normal. Generations of men are unsatisfied with their size, when there's nothing wrong with them.

I could go on. Just pray or use your will power to abstain.

Yeah hopefully the topic doesn't get banned. I do think porn is unrealistic, although there are some great scenes from real life. The way I see it is if you're all alone, it's kind of sad to jerk off, but guys are also known to do it in groups like a circle jerk in some frats, at least in my college anyhow. I wouldn't do it since I'm a very private person when it comes to stuff like that. Even though I'm not a Christian in reality and definitely not knowledgeable about theology, I'd guess they would frown upon it.

I've got a close friend who went to City Tutoring back when they were in person with classes and he can attest Cromwell would definitely ban porn, make it illegal in all states, and he said he'd restore the Comstock laws...so not sure how risky this topic is on here but....yeah....some students were known to watch porn on their phones and got kicked out real fast.

I dont agree with this. Life= having agency. Thus the people being happier around a women with less agency really should question where their happiness really stem from.
