I am 19 (almost 20). I choose not to have Home Internet. I have a social club on some Sundays and the building has Wi-fi, but apart from that I only access the web in Libraries, so I may be slow to respond.
I was raised non-denominal Christian but I don't subscribe to any particular belief set.
I speak English, A2 German and a small bit of Gaelic.

No need to apologize for slow responses. Real life should always take precedence over life online, and limiting one's dependence on the internet is becoming an increasingly uncommon choice, so that is admirable indeed! You and I are in a similar position, because I do not have access to the internet at home (mostly due to cost + infrastructure considerations), so I have to check my messages either at my office, or in a cafe, or at a local library just like you.
You have a broad range of interests that should fit well here. Theology, history, medicine, self-sufficiency, and off-grid living are all subjects that tend to produce worthwhile discussion when approached seriously. What are some ways in which you are off-grid, besides the internet connectivity issue?
As for book recommendations, I'm sure you'll find no shortage of them from the membership. We have readers from a variety of backgrounds and traditions, so don't hesitate to start a thread on a particular topic that interests you.

I grow some food. I have limited garden space. I mostly grow potatoes, Beans, Carrots, and Tomatoes. I am saving up for land. I collect some rain water and filter and boil it. I have a gas powered camping stove, but I prefer the luxury of my oven and electric stovetop.
