Congress Moves to Permanently Bind America to Israel

Post by Alfred Cromwell »

While Americans are distracted by the daily political circus, Congress is quietly advancing one of the most consequential foreign policy shifts in modern history.

Section 224 of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act would create a formal U.S.-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, integrating military research, weapons development, artificial intelligence, missile defense, intelligence cooperation, and strategic planning between Washington and Tel Aviv. An effort to strip the provision from the bill failed in committee, and barring a last-minute surprise, it now appears headed toward passage. After that, it awaits only the signature of Israel's bootlicker, Donald Trump.

This is yet another horrendous tragedy for our country, for it represents the merging of American military power and decision-making with the interests of the Jewish state and the Zionist world project. The initiative would create a framework for long-term cooperation in some of the most sensitive areas of national defense, with, as usual, American taxpayers footing the bill.

The timing could hardly be more controversial. As images from Gaza continue to circulate around the world and Israel faces growing accusations of war crimes and collective punishment, Washington is not creating distance. Instead, Congress is moving to deepen military and intelligence ties even further. At a moment when much of the world is questioning Israel's conduct, America's political class appears determined to lock in an even closer relationship.

The Senate is moving in the same direction. Lawmakers are pushing legislation that would make intelligence sharing with Israel a permanent feature of U.S. national security policy. Taken together, these measures suggest that what was once a close alliance, which is already bad enough as it is, is evolving into something much deeper and more institutionalized. Many of us predicted this would happen years ago. We have always considered modern America to be a satellite state for Zionist interests.

For Americans concerned about Palestine, this raises obvious moral questions, as Israel is a genocidal state. For Americans concerned about sovereignty, it raises equally important strategic ones. Why should a foreign government have increasing influence over the direction of American defense policy? Why is Congress willing to commit enormous resources to overseas entanglements while America's debt explodes, infrastructure decays, and basic national priorities go unmet?

These are not fringe questions. They go to the heart of what a nation is supposed to be. A government is expected to represent the interests of its own citizens first. Yet Washington increasingly behaves as though support for Israel is the one issue that cannot be debated, questioned, or reconsidered regardless of the cost. People are getting censored, threatened, harassed and imprisoned for exposing this criminal network.

Congress is treating these measures as routine business. They are anything but. If enacted, they will help reshape the American-Israeli relationship for decades to come, embedding deeper military and intelligence cooperation into the permanent architecture of the U.S. government.

The real issue is not whether Israel is a friend. Intelligent people know Israel has never been a friend of the US, let alone the American people. The real issue is that the United States of America is now entirely under Israel's power. No more Congress in America...we now have the Knesset. Sad times.

Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to whether the news is real or something else? The news is very real:

The early Zionist settlements in the Holyland failed until America and Europe stepped in. Even the Nazis helped them with the Haavara agreement(allthough it could've become a banana republic).
The most successfull Zionist state after Israel is Birobidzhan, in Russia and has a population under 100,000 with an even smaller number of Jews. It isn't recognised by the UN.
Before Hertzl there were attempts at an independent Jewish state, but most were small regions under local rabbinic law inside other states.

Glad to see the Cromwell Confidential section. Current events are genuinely astonishing.

I'm writing from NZ — nominally a close US ally — and I think citizens across the Anglosphere are slowly coming to terms with the depth of elite capture. Our politicians function as NPCs/talking heads that nominally cast votes their handlers have told them to and given them talking points about.

Politics is just theatre now and the actors are so lazy they don’t pretend our opinions even matter anymore.

Is it incompetence, or financial capture, genuine (albeit wrong) principle, or something else entirely? What I can't figure out is: how was this sold to them?

And if the answer is that we the people don't matter — then is there a faction within the elite class itself that sees what's happening and is alarmed?

Not as catharsis — is there a meaningful subset inside the political class that could go to bat against this merging? Or has the capture reached the point where the dissenters have already been filtered out?

The only reasonable way forward that I see is to have politicians start being Christians before politicians. We need people in power that see themselves as expendable in comparison to the cause that they are fighting for. Jews take power, and wield it as Jews. Muslims take power, and then yield it as Muslims. But for some reason, if a Christian wants to take power and yield it as a Christian, then "separation of Church and state" becomes an issue again. How about separation of synagogue and state?

Until people want to be honest about the fact that the problem is Judaism itself, and that it is fundamentally incompatible with Christianity, nothing is ever going to change in this regard.

I believe the notion that Zionists and Jews are the same is false. What we are seeing is the Israeli nationalists and Zionists in government. I have met many a Jew that was anti-Israel or at the very least anti-Zionism.
