Future of the UK

As alot of you will have heard, the UK Government is passing laws to require IDs for accessing (or creating) Social Media accounts (except Liberal Bluesky). People do get arrested for spicy takes/jokes on Social Media. The UK Government had a survey up regarding them telling Youtube to prioritise BBC content, one of the questions where along the lines of "when should reliable Media be shown" with the options "all the time" "during times of crisis" and "sometimes".
They have signed the National Security (State threats) Bill, which will allow the Home Secretary to decide any Foreign Government as being "Unreliable" and thus make any information coming from that Country as "Illegal" with Journalists possibly facing up to 14 years for HAVING any Information from them. This hasn't been used yet.
I'm not a Doomer, but the recent events from Northern Ireland, (The attempted Beheading, the Riots after that, The Paper Mosque on the bonfire drama) and the Henry Nowak bodycam footage outrage also concern me for the Future.
