Hey thanks for responding!
I like your point about truth needing to be lived and not just understood intellectually. I think there's something important there. Experience often gives depth to truths that can otherwise remain abstract.

Does Faith Require Having all the answers?
One thing I've been thinking about a lot lately is how some Christians seem to equate certainty with faith. The assumption is that the stronger your faith is, the fewer questions you should have, and the more confident you should be that your interpretation of Scripture is the correct one.

Re: Pros and Cons of not having Home Internet
Super interesting but why do you choose that?
I think a lot of your pros are really about self-control rather than home internet itself no? I get what you mean also about echo chamber though.
Some of your cons also seem much bigger than you're letting on. Not having reliable internet makes ...

Re: Is Jerking Off sinful?
I mean sure like I can see if its your only outlet or becomes something obsessive then it can be a bad thing like anything. Good point #1 that it wont pay dividends, but then I look around at most women today and with extremely few exceptions, do they pay dividends?

Re: Greetings from Central Texas (Austin)
Great post! I'm finding it curious what's the connection between Cromwell and New Orleans? I've heard from multiple sources that he not only lives in the area, but that a lot of his "closest" ones are from that area.

Is Jerking Off sinful?
I wasn't sure if this was gonna get banned in "theology" section, so I'm posting here just in case it won't work for theology. My question is basic since I was curious about what you all think being that there are so many hardcore Christians here.

Re: Hello From Oregon
Honestly I'm surprised about what you are saying re: Utah. I thought people there would be more honest BECAUSE of the Mormon culture. I live in NYC and it truly sucks here, especially if you're a white anglo male...I say it like that because even "Whites" here tend to be ethnic type like Italians or ...
